They make corrosion-resistant and high-temperature ramie fiber gland packing from the finest ramie yarns. It has a square plait construction and a PTFE suspensoid. We add a break-in lubricant to reduce shaft wear. It allows for expansion during the break-in period. This packing is a well-lubricated, medium-hard packing. It has very low friction, which ensures minimal shaft wear. The ramie yarn resists rot and mildew.
Application
The packing is ideal for marine use, handling cold water, salt water, and cold oils. In the marine industry, it is best for sealing stern tube and rudder post stuffing boxes.
