MIFSO-180 is a carbon fiber packing. We weave pre-oxidized acrylic fibers to make it. It is then treated with a polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion and surface lubrication. Graphite carbon fiber packing has excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance, and chemical stability. It is a perfect asbestos substitute. It’s also one of the cheaper non-asbestos options.

For example: weak acids, bases, salts, organic solvents, seawater, factory wastewater, and mineral oil.
